Your boutique Marketing Firm in Durango, CO. From a beautiful river valley nestled at the base of the San Juan Mountains, a local marketing agency was born. Having more than 15 years of media, marketing and management experience in both local and larger market settings under her belt at the time (2007), SO&A founder Sara Olsen felt the call to do something more. Inspired by her favorite local trails and the many clients she had served, she had a vision to elevate the brand and marketing standard for small businesses in Southwest Colorado. So... she decided to blaze her own trail and began what is now Sara Olsen & Associates. 15 years and dozens of local clients later, she remains true to this vision and this goal.
Sara Olsen is your chief Brand Betty and bottle washer at SO&A. Sara and her skilled team are passionate about building strong local brands, as well as offering marketing and brand support at every level - from consultation, to specific project delivery, to full-service marketing management.

Sara Olsen has been a media and marketing professional for 30 years. She blends her years of experience in multi-media marketing, business development and management from both small business and corporate settings to provide our clients with an array of services, support and marketing knowledge. Her real-world work in the trenches also lends the insight and practical tools needed to help your brand grow and evolve.
With a commitment to client service and award-winning chops, Sara delivers effective branding, marketing strategy and management, content creation and campaigns for our clients.
